Mike VanZandt Collins is the Chair of the Advisory Board at Archventures and manages community outreach and other initiatives with higher education. Before working with Archventures, Mike taught at an urban Catholic high school in Boston and then moved onto community organizing via the Obama for America campaign. While he always intends to remain connected to the nonprofit sector, he aspires to be a university professor someday. He can be reached by email (mike@archventures.org) or twitter (@VZCollins).

Travis Anderson is our Operations Director. He can be reached at travis@archventures.org.

Molly Cousins is our Fellowship Director. A current senior concentrating in Urban Studies at Brown University, Molly thinks that upon graduating in May she’ll take some time to explore: working at a vineyard in Argentina, on a ranch/camp in Alaska, or at a rum distillery in Newport are all distinct possibilities. Eventually she hopes to go to graduate school for a Master’s in Urban Planning and/or pursue a career in nonprofit management. Ideally she’ll start her own nonprofit in northern California and run it out of her personal vineyard-slash-farm. She can be reached at molly@archventures.org.

Amy Vos is our Executive Assistant. Amy recently graduated from Boston University with a Master’s degree in Nutrition. She enjoys being active outside, playing volleyball and helping people. Amy is excited to learn the innerworkings of a start-up nonprofit organization. She can be reached at amy@archventures.org.

Migdalia Tracy is one of our Fellows. Migdalia is currently studying Urban and Environmental Planning and Policy at Tufts University, with a particular focus on green infrastructure planning, sustainable transportation planning, environmentally preferable purchasing, and green urban design. She has previously done community outreach for a public health study with the Tufts School of Medicine that investigated the negative public health effects of poor transportation planning in areas around Greater Boston. Prior to that, she co-produced a documentary on the extension of the MBTA Green Line called, “Back on Track: Talking Transit in Somerville,” with her fellow Tufts University UEP students on behalf of GroundWork Somerville. She is currently working on her master’s thesis which investigates environmentally preferable purchasing decisions by local firms. She can be reached at migdalia@archventures.org.
